Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has made it clear that he doesn’t want Raheem Sterling in his team for the season.
Sterling is one of the players who have been deemed not to be in the plans of Enzo Maresca.
According to reports, Manchester United have held exploratory talks over a deal to sign Raheem Sterling from Chelsea.
However, there is no guarantee of an agreement being reached, as Manchester United sporting director Dan Ashworth is exploring to see if he can use the situation at Chelsea to his club’s advantage.
If Manchester United enter for a deal for Raheem Sterling, sources say it will be on their terms.
Sterling, 29, has been training away from the Chelsea first-team squad since the start of the season.
Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho who is in a similar position to Raheem Sterling is also available and is known to have admirers at Chelsea.
