On Sunday, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Saudi side Al Ahli had bid for Chelsea target Victor Osimhen.

Romano wrote: “The agreement between Napoli and Al Ahli for package in excess of €65m is almost done, pending small details.

“But NO agreement with Osimhen so far as Nigerian striker wants an important salary + KEY DETAIL: release clause to be included.”

Fabrizio Romano has now reported that Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has rejected Al Ahli’s proposal for him.

“Victor Osimhen is not accepting Al Ahli proposals as he required important salary AND release clause,” Romano revealed.

“The release clause is crucial or deal will not happen at all, sources confirm.”

Chelsea have shown interest in Victor Osimhen, but the Blues are rather interested on a loan deal for the Nigerian international.
