Wolves boss Gary O’Neil, has revealed his disappointment in the way he lost to Chelsea.
Gary O’Neil was expecting to get a good result against Chelsea after beating Chelsea home and away last season, but that wasn’t the case.
Chelsea hammered Wolves 6-2 at the Molineux Stadium on Sunday afternoon, and it could have been more as Chelsea missed a number of second-half chances.
Gary O’Neil said after suffering the 6-2 defeat: “I was just disappointed.
“It was a crazy game, we gave Chelsea so many good situations from crazy episodes that were so avoidable and we were badly punished. That spell was unrecoverable for us.
“There’s a lot we all need to look at and understand it’s unacceptable it went the way it did.”
