Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has praised goalkeeper Robert Sanchez for his role in Chelsea’s second goal against Brighton.
Sanchez started out a quick attack, as he played a ball from deep to Nicolas Jackson, who in turn laid a fine ball to Cole Palmer. Cole Palmer lobbed a ball over the Wolves goalkeeper for Chelsea’s second goal.
Robert Sanchez played a key pass, and was very instrumental to that goal, which earned him the praise of his manager.
“I said many times, we started one month and a half ago, when there is space in behind, we need to attack in behind,” said the Chelsea head coach.
“They were all on our side, and then we attacked.
“When they sit back it is difficult because there is no space in behind, so we need more passes, more process.
“We are in a moment where we started less than two months ago and the players are still learning.”
