Chelsea and Wolves played out an 8-goal thriller at the Molineux Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

The first-half was an end-to-end encounter that ended in a 2-2 draw, but the second-half was a totally different game as Chelsea bossed the game and scored four goals to win the tie 6-2.

At half-time Blues boss Enzo Maresca took off Mykhailo Mudryk and brought on Pedro Neto. Chelsea were extremely better in the second period.

Enzo Maresca has revealed that his half-time tactical switch changed the game in the second-half.

“In the second half we changed something and it was better,” Enzo Maresca told BBC Match of the Day after Chelsea’s 6-2 win over Wolves.

“I thought the intention in the first half was good but we lost four or five easy balls from set-pieces and counterattacks.

“The second half was completely different and we didn’t lose any balls and were in control of the game.

“The tactical plan in the second half was the same but we were a bit more accurate in the second half and didn’t give away any easy balls.”
