Chelsea started their European Conference League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Swiss side Servette.

After a goalless first-half, goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke in the second-half gave Chelsea the victory.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer gave an injury scare as he went off the pitch limping and grimacing.

Cameras picked Cole Palmer holding onto his thigh as he went into the tunnel, after coming in as a substitute in the second-half.

Speaking after the game, Enzo Maresca hinted that it wasn’t anything serious, and there wasn’t an injury to Cole Palmer.

“Cole felt something but he looks fine,” the Chelsea coach said.

“They already checked him, he looks fine, okay and hopefully there’s not any problem and he can be available for Sunday’s game.”
