Chelsea started their European Conference League campaign with a 2-0 victory over Swiss side Servette.
After a laboured first-half where Chelsea were quite underwhelming, the second-half was much better.
Goals from Christopher Nkunku and Noni Madueke in the second-half gave Chelsea the victory.
However, there was one shocking incident early in the second-half involving Marc Guiu, which stunned Chelsea fans.
The 18-year-old closed down Servette goalkeeper Jeremy Frick, and was through on goal with just an empty net to score.
However, Frick managed to scramble back to keep out Guiu’s effort, with the forward then having two further efforts saved.
Marc Guiu was left hugely frustrated at his missed chances, and Chelsea fans couldn’t believe what they saw.
One fan wrote: “Marc Guiu might be our new Morata.”
Another user stated: “Marc Guiu …..is this a joke?”
Guiu was also compared to another ex-Chelsea striker in Timo Werner, with one fan writing: “Marc Guiu has been studying the Timo Werner texts what a man.”
