Conor Gallagher has officially completed his move to Atletico Madrid from Chelsea in a £36m deal.

It had initially appeared that the Conor Gallagher transfer have fallen through following the collapse of Chelsea’s move for Atletico striker Samu Omorodion, but the deal was revived after the Chelsea agreed to sign Joao Felix.

Atletico were impressed with Conor Gallagher and were keen on signing him.

The 24-year-old is now an Atletico Madrid player, and has signed a five-year deal at the club until 2029.

Chelsea have also confirmed the transfer, and have wished Conor Gallagher well.
