After all the back and forth, Conor Gallagher’s move to Atletico is finally set to be completed as Chelsea have agreed to sign Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.

Chelsea and Atletico Madrid have reached a €42m agreement for Conor Gallagher.

According to The Athletic, the deal for Conor Gallagher will have an ‘undisclosed’ sell-on clause for Chelsea.

This is to say, if Atletico sell Gallagher in the coming years, Chelsea will stand to receive a certain portion of the fee.

Gallagher has flown back to Spain after spending five days waiting for a transfer announcement, before the initial collapse following a breakdown in the Samu Omorodion deal.
