It seems Raheem Sterling isn’t in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the season.

The former Manchester City star wasn’t a key player under former boss Mauricio Pochettino, and has seemingly lost his place this new season as well.

Former Liverpool captain Graeme Souness, has advised Sterling to make a move to Saudi Arabia, as there are not many options for him in England and possibly Europe.

“Where is the market for Raheem Sterling? Saudi Arabia, end of,” Souness said on talkSPORT.

“And the kind of money he would want, he’s not going to get that again in England.

“The kind of transfer fee Chelsea would want, I don’t think there’s going to be anyone in England.”

With Sterling’s wages of ₤325,000 per week, he’s one of the highest-paid player at Chelsea and one of five biggest earners in the whole Premier League. There’s definitely no club in Europe willing to pay him that much.
