Chelsea are close to completing a permanent move for Joao Felix from Atletico Madrid.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that the Portugal star is in London, and the deal could be wrapped up today.

“João Félix day at Chelsea, plan confirmed,” reported Romano.

“He’s travelling to London today for medical tests and contract signing, deal valid until June 2030. It will include an option for further year.

“João, excited to return to Chelsea as it’s all agreed also with his agent Mendes.”

Joao Felix impressed when he spent one half of the season on loan at Chelsea, two campaigns ago.
