New Chelsea signing Pedro Neto made his official debut for Chelsea in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
Pedro Neto came on as a substitute for his Chelsea debut in Chelsea’s first match of the 2024-25 Premier League season.
Neto came on for Christopher Nkunku in the second half, and was impressive in the 30-plus minutes he spent on the pitch.
Neto created two goal-scoring chances and had a 100% pass accuracy.
After the game, the Portuguese winger sent a message to the fans: “Despite the result, I feel enormous gratitude for all your support in this debut game. We look forward. Let’s go @ChelseaFC.”
Neto could get his full Chelsea debut in the upcoming UEFA Europa Conference League qualifier first-leg clash against Servette on Thursday.
