Napoli head coach Antonio Conte has addressed the speculation surrounding Victor Osimhen’s potential transfer to Chelsea.

When questioned about the possibility of the Nigerian striker moving to Stamford Bridge, Conte made it clear that he is not directly involved in the decision-making process.

“On Victor Osimhen, it’s a situation that’s 100% in the hands of the club and the player,” Conte stated, distancing himself from the ongoing transfer saga.

Conte further clarified his stance, adding, “I’m not entering into this story as it all started before I arrived here,” highlighting that any negotiations regarding Osimhen’s future began prior to his appointment at Napoli.

When asked about Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku joining Napoli, Conte maintained his focus on his current squad, stating, “I don’t talk about players who are not part of the Napoli squad.”
