Cole Palmer has been nominated for the PFA Players’ Player of the Year award, after a phenomenal season with Chelsea.

Palmer has already been nominated for the Young Player of the Year category, which he’s the favourite to win.

Palmer scored an incredible 22 league goals in his first Chelsea season and bagged 11 assists. He had more goal involvements than any other player in the league.

For this award, Cole Palmer will be up against Manchester City trio of Erling Haaland, Phil Foden, Rodri, Martin Odegaard of Arsenal and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.

Rodri and Phil Foden are favourite for the award, but you can’t take away Cole Palmer’s influence. The only thing missing from Cole Palmer was a trophy.
