In a major transfer coup, Chelsea have secured the signing of Pedro Neto from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the Portuguese winger successfully passed his medical in London on Saturday and is set to join the Blues on a long-term deal.
Neto will ink a contract with Chelsea valid until June 2030, with an option for an additional season.
The deal, which sees Chelsea paying Wolves €60 million upfront with an additional €3 million in potential add-ons, marks one of the most significant signings of the summer transfer window.
The 24-year-old winger is expected to be formally presented to Chelsea supporters at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, further bolstering the squad as the Blues aim to compete on multiple fronts this season.
Chelsea’s capture of Neto reflects their ambition under manager Enzo Maresca, who has been keen to add more attacking options to his squad.
Neto’s pace, creativity, and eye for goal will undoubtedly provide a new dimension to Chelsea’s forward line.
All the necessary documents have been signed between the clubs, sealing Neto’s move to West London.
Chelsea fans eagerly await his official unveiling, with high hopes that the Portuguese international will make an immediate impact at the club.
Chelsea coach is confused 🤔😕😕🤔 he supposed to first and buy osimhen first together with sporting Lisbon striker because that is the major problem of our club Chelsea…then again failing to buy William from athletic bibao is a very big mistake of him …he supposed to buy Lookman of Atlanta that scored 17 goals last season that is what he supposed to do but he didn’t showed up seriousness rather they complained about the amount but of 50million pounds being too much but now they are ready to buy someone that is known as an injury player at 56million pounds who scored only 3 goals
