Chelsea striker Armando Broja was not part of Chelsea’s matchday squad for the game against Real Madrid.
Broja who travelled with the team to the United States for pre-season, has only played 72 minutes during the tour, and was not included in the squad to play Real Madrid.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has admitted it’s as a result that the Albanian is expected to leave Chelsea this summer.
Enzo Maresca explained: “No, it was just a decision. He was not injured, luckily for him and for us. In this moment, we will see what happens [if Broja will be sold].”
Broja has been transfer-listed by Chelsea, with the Blues demanding a £25m fee for the striker.
Everton and Wolves are among the clubs to have expressed interest in signing Armando Broja.
