Chelsea are set to sign another goalkeeper, as the Blues have reached an agreement to sign Mike Penders from Genk.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the deal, as he reports that the 19-year-old will spend the next season out on loan with Genk, after a €20m deal was agreed.

Chelsea have a huge number of goalkeepers, with the club having made so many goalkeeper signings under Todd Boehly era.

Some of Chelsea goalkeepers are yet to play a game for the club. Kepa Arrizabalaga is looking for a way out, and Marcus Bettinelli is still on the club’s books. There’s still young goalkeeper signing Gabriel Slonina, while Djordje Petrovic is set to leave on loan.

Chelsea fans have slammed the approach by the Chelsea owners.

A particular fan even asked for Chelsea to get a transfer ban.
