Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson is yet to play under new boss Enzo Maresca.

Nicolas Jackson hasn’t played once for Chelsea during the ongoing pre-season tour of the United States.

The Senegal international who was Chelsea’s main striker last season, has been out with an ankle injury for almost two months.

According to reporter Kieran Gill, Chelsea hope Jackson should get minutes on the pitch on Tuesday night against Real Madrid if his recovery goes to plan in the next couple of days.

Jackson is still with the Chelsea squad, and Enzo Maresca is keen on trying him in his tactical system ahead of the start of the season.

Jackson was known for missing chances last season, but he still scored 14 goals in the Premier League alone.
