Chelsea have accepted a bid from Atletico Madrid for midfielder Conor Gallagher.
Conor Gallagher has been linked with a Chelsea exit for many months now, and he’s now set to leave the club, after he rejected a new Blues contract in June.
Chelsea have accepted a bid of £33m from Atletico Madrid for Gallagher, and the 24-year-old will now discuss personal terms with the Spanish club.
Chelsea are understood to prefer the sale to a club outside of English football, so have opted to accept a bid from Atletico, lower than the £45m being discussed with Aston Villa in June.
Gallagher has one year left on his contract with Chelsea. He is reported to have turned down a three-year contract, structured in a two-year deal with an option for an extra year, in June.
