Chelsea have officially confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen from Villarreal.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has signed a seven-year deal with Chelsea, with the Blues paying around €25m.
“This move is a dream come true,” Filip Jorgensen told the official Chelsea website after signing for Chelsea from Villarreal.
“I am very excited to have signed for Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world.
“I can’t wait to get to know everyone and to start playing with all my new teammates.”
The 6 ft 3 in goalkeeper is set to become the new first choice goalkeeper at Chelsea, displaying Robert Sanchez.
Djordje Petrovic may also have to leave Chelsea this summer, and also Kepa Arrizabalaga.
