Last season, Mauricio Pochettino was criticised for using some players out of position – one of those players is Levi Colwill.
Levi Colwill featured often as a left-back under Mauricio Pochettino last season, even though he’s primarily a centre-back.
New boss Enzo Maresca has also deployed Colwill as a left-back in pre-season.
Colwill has however stated that he’s ready to be a goalkeeper if need be.
The centre-back made this known: “There have been mistakes, but that’s what pre-season is for. We are building and with a whole new different approach. It’s exciting.
“I played left-back a lot last season and am willing to play anywhere to help the team. If the gaffer needs me to play in goal I’ll do it!
“I wouldn’t say it’s been a heavy pre-season. None of us are complaining. We want to be in the best form, and confident in the style of play. They have such good staff behind the gaffer and have been working with us individually and as units.”
if Chelsea 💙 manager still with Sanchez Chelsea 💙 will not win any match in premier league like last season
