Axel Disasi made Chelsea’s pre-season squad for the tour of US. However, the Chelsea centre-back is yet to feature in any game so far.

Disasi has been injured, that’s why he missed the Wrexham and Celtic games.

Reporter Jack Rosser has revealed that Disasi had to undergo hernia surgery.

He tweeted: “Disasi not involved again as he is recovering from hernia surgery underwent in the summer.

“Played through it at the end of last season to make sure he was available.”

Disasi was very available for Chelsea last season, as he featured 44 times out of a possible 51.

Disasi recently posted a series of pictures of himself in the gym, showing he’s preparing for the new season.
