Aaron Anselmino is set to become a Chelsea player.
The defender from Boca Juniors is currently in London to complete his medical with Chelsea.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given more details on Aaron Anselmino to Chelsea news.
“Aaron Anselmino, in London today to undergo medical tests and sign six year contract as Chelsea player,” reports Romano.
“Deal valid until June 2030 plus option until 2031, then he will go back on loan to Boca Juniors.
“Anselmino will travel back to Buenos Aires this week.”
Speaking with ESPN, the Argentine revealed his happiness to sign for Chelsea: “I’m very happy, everything happened very quickly.
“Since I was a little boy, I dreamed of this, things are going well and I hope they continue like this. Every footballer dreams of this opportunity, I’m very happy.”
The 19-year-old will be loaned back to Boca Juniors after signing for Chelsea. The Blues will pay a fee of around €20m for the Argentine.
