Chelsea were beaten 4-1 by the Scottish giants in Chelsea’s pre-season clash in the US.

Nevertheless, Blues boss Enzo Maresca praised the performance of Marc Guiu.

Enzo Maresca said: “Marc Guiu is a fighter, you can see that. He created chances and he had chances [himself] today.”

Enzo Maresca also revealed that Guiu may not have to go out on loan anymore.

“The idea with Marc, with all the young players, is to have a look now during the pre-season and then to make a decision altogether,” Maresca said.

“I think Marc is doing well and he’s one of the guys in this moment is going to stay with us and not going to go somewhere.”
