Chelsea were beaten 4-1 by Celtic in their ongoing pre-season tour of the United States.

Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca is still getting the team to come to terms with his tactics, and it seems to be taking a bit of time.

Chelsea’s high line was exposed constantly by Celtic, and Maresca believes everything will be fine before the season opener against Manchester City.

According to Enzo Maresca, it’s normal for tactics to be slowly adapted by the team.

He said: “We need many things to improve. One of the things we did bad today, when we are not pressuring we need to drop. We still confuse some things on and off the ball, but that is normal in this type of situation.”

He added: “We are going to be for sure ready for that game. The result is always important for us but we need to judge different things.

“On the ball it is much better, we created chances but off the ball we need to improve.”
