Chelsea’s move to sign Argentinian defender Aaron Anselmino seems to have been completed.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that 19-year-old Boca Juniors centre-back Aaron Anselmino is set to join Chelsea.

According to Romano, the deal has now been concluded.

“Aaron Anselmino to Chelsea, here we go! Deal just completed for 2005 born Argentinian CB,” confirmed Romano.

“Details sorted with Boca Juniors, Chelsea will pay package in excess of $20m.

Romano also confirmed that Anselmino will stay back at Boca Juniors  until the winter transfer window, when he will now move to Stamford Bridge.

Romano added: “Anselmino will travel to UK on Monday. He’s staying at Boca Juniors on loan at least until January.”
