Chelsea are close to sealing a deal for Villarreal goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the deal is now its final stages.
Romano said: “Chelsea are closing in on Filip Jorgensen deal, as agreement with Villarreal is at final stages.
“Chelsea have improved their proposal after initial bid worth €20m and they’re just discussing deal structure with Villarreal.
“Jorgensen has already agreed on contract.”
Chelsea will have to let go of two senior goalkeepers this summer.
The Blues signed Robert Sanchez for £25million and Djordje Petrovic for £14million last summer. It’s been reported that Enzo Maresca prefers Robert Sanchez to Petrovic, so Petrovic will be leaving.
Kepa Arrizabalaga is also poised to leave Chelsea this summer.
