Chelsea played out a 2-2 draw with Wrexham in a pre-season friendly in Santa Clara.

Everyone was looking forward to seeing how the Chelsea players will play in Enzo Maresca’s first game in charge of the team.

Christopher Nkunku put Chelsea ahead in the first half, scoring in the 35^th minute to end the first-half 1-0.

Wrexham’s Luke Bolton and Jack Marriott capitalised on defensive lapses to turn the game around in the second-half, as they scored in the 58^th and 71^st minute respectively.

Lesley Ugochukwu equalised for Chelsea with seven minutes remaining to end the game 2-2.

One player who thrilled the Chelsea fans was Marc Guiu. Guiu started the game alongside Noni Madueke and Christopher Nkunku.

Marc Guiu impressed in his 45 minutes appearance, before being subbed off at half-time for Armando Broja.
