Chelsea have confirmed their 28-man squad that will fly off to the USA for their 2024 pre-season games under new boss Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is conspicuously missing from the squad.
Chelsea had tried to sell Trevoh Chalobah last summer, but the deal didn’t go through again.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chalobah has been told by the Chelsea hierarchy to stay home. The officials believe that the squad is too packed in defence, with the likes of Wesley Fofana, Tosin Adarabioyo, Levi Colwill, Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi to choose from in the centre-back role.
According to ‘insides’ Chelsea Sport, the Blues are trying their best force Trevoh Chalobah out of the club this summer.
He will not be in the squad that flies to the USA for the pre-season friendly games and the club are trying to push him out.
