Chelsea have confirmed their 28-man squad that will fly off to the USA for their 2024 pre-season games under new boss Enzo Maresca.
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is conspicuously missing from the squad.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chalobah has been told by the Chelsea hierarchy to stay home.
According to ‘insides’ Chelsea Sport, the Blues are trying their best force Trevoh Chalobah out of the club this summer.
Chalobah responded to this snub by posting a Bible verse on his Instagram story along with an emotional message.
Chalobah who’s a Christian, expressed his gratitude to God for letting him live through another week and enough strengthen to persevere through his issues.
Chalobah was nearly sold by Chelsea last summer, but the deal didn’t go through anymore.
The 24-year-old defender only made 17 appearances for the Blues last season. His season was plagued with injuries, but he eventually found a way into the squad.
Chelsea only lost one Premier League game out of the 13 in which he featured.
Why is Chalobah being hunted. He plays better football than the favored guys in defense.
