Chelsea have made a couple of signings in attack, midfield and defence. However, the goalkeeper area is one area that Chelsea haven’t made any significant effort in so far.

New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca likes Robert Sanchez, however there’s no certainty he will be Chelsea’s No. 1 for the 2024-25 season.

Despite his admiration, Enzo Maresca also seems unsure of Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic.

Chelsea are now believed to be looking for a new goalkeeper ahead of the start of the new season.

Chelsea have been linked with Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin was crucial in goal last season, as Real Madrid went on to win the La Liga and Champions League.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared this update: “Chelsea have decided to bring in a new goalkeeper. It’s a really strong and concrete possibility.

“Why [are they] doing this? Because Chelsea, at the moment, want a new goalkeeper who can play and do [a] good job in distribution. This is the crucial part.”
