Chelsea haven’t really been linked with signing a new goalkeeper.

Chelsea want to let go of Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Djordje Petrovic and Roberto Sanchez are set to fight for the number one role next season.

According to Alberto Pereiro of Onda Cero, Chelsea are reportedly close to signing Andriy Lunin, the Ukrainian goalkeeper from Real Madrid.

Despite Lunin’s strong performances last season, Real Madrid are willing to let him go, as the Ukrainian wouldn’t want to continue as second choice goalkeeper.

Andriy Lunin was top-class for Real Madrid last season, and played a key role as Real Madrid went on to win the La Liga and Champions League.

Real Madrid will continue to rely on Thibaut Courtois and potentially sign Kepa Arrizabalaga if Lunin departs, the report claims.
