Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella has finally sent a reply to Gary Neville, who accused him of being a busy body in defence.

Gary Neville had claimed Spain won’t win the Euro because of Cucurella.

He said ahead of their first game: “He’s not been convincing at Chelsea. He’s played a few games towards the end of the season.

“He’s aggressive, he’s tenacious, he’s a busy little full-back. That price tag, to be fair, still astounds everyone, I think, to this day.

“The Spanish defence, it’s got a lot of experience now but there’s something just missing from Spain that makes you feel like they’re going to go all the way.

“I have to say that him being at left-back probably is probably another example of why we think that.”

Marc Cucurella was indeed patient until the end, and has sent a message to Gary Neville following Spain’s Euro win.

“We went all the way Gary. Thanks for your support ❤️🏆🇪🇸😘”
