Marc Cucurella is just one game away from winning the Euro Championship.

Spain play England in the final of the Euro 2024 tournament on Sunday night, and it’s expected to be a massive clash.

Marc Cucurella has revealed that new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca texted him some days ago to wish him well ahead of the Euro final.

He said: “Yes, he texted me a couple of days ago. The feelings were good, it all looked exciting, so I am looking forward to it.

“Some people from Chelsea reached me too during the Euros. I’ve sensed that our team-mates are very happy too.

“We have a similar group of players to last season and football relies heavily on relationships with everyone, team-mates, managers… if you have a team-mate you really get along with and you know each other, it has an impact on the pitch.”

Marc Cucurella has been one of the standout players in Euro 2024; he’s definitely been the best left-back in the competition.
