Chelsea signed Lesley Ugochukwu from Rennes last summer for a fee of £23m.

The 20-year-old barely played for the Blues last season, as he was out on the sidelines due to a lengthy injury. The Frenchman only made a total of 15 appearances.

According to The Athletic, Chelsea are now considering sending Ugochukwu on loan.

Chelsea would prefer a Premier League club for Ugochukwu, and three clubs have already expressed interest.

Some foreign clubs outside the Premier League are also monitoring the situation.

Ugochukwu is currently with the France U23 team preparing for the Olympics.

Ugochukwu has a lot of potential, but it will be beneficial to both parties if he goes out on loan.
