New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has made his first tough decision, as he has banished goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga from first-team training.

Kepa spent last season on loan at Real Madrid, and reports claim he’s keen on a permanent deal to Spain.

According to Allen Stand Upper, Kepa has now been relegated to training with the development squad.

“Kepa is training with the development squad, not the first team,” the report revealed.

“It’s a fresh start for everyone under Enzo Maresca, but unfortunately for Kepa, that means starting from scratch,” the insider added.

Still the most expensive goalkeeper signing in the world, Kepa has never really excelled at Stamford Bridge, and has since lost his place in the team.

Reports claim that Kepa Arrizabalaga has shown no desire in fighting for his place at Chelsea, and is seeking an exit.

The new Chelsea boss is keen to maintain a positive attitude in the training ground, and has made a quick decision to freeze Kepa till further notice.

Previous rumours have claimed that Enzo Maresca prefers Robert Sanchez, and he will start the season opener against Manchester City, ahead of Djorjde Petrovic, who impressed in his debut Premier League season.
