Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has spoken about new signing Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
Chelsea announced the signing of Dewsbury-Hall last week, as the 25-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea from Leicester City.
Gallagher recollects coming up against Dewsbury-Hall when Chelsea defeated Leicester City 4-2 in the FA Cup quarter-finals last season.
For Conor Gallagher, Dewsbury-Hall is a top player.
“He’s a top player. He had an incredible season last season,” the England international said on Talksport when asked about his new club teammate.
“Even when he played Chelsea at the Bridge [FA Cup last year, Chelsea won 4-2], he was very good. I remember trying to get the ball off him and thinking he’s a good player.
“We’re really happy and delighted to have him at the club. I’m sure he’s going to be brilliant.”
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Conor Gallagher play similar positions and have similar style of play. This has further brought rumours that the Chelsea academy hero may make way for the Leicester City academy product.
