Chelsea are close to sealing a deal for Barcelona striker Marc Guiu.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has reported that Marc Guiu has completed medical tests in London ahead of sealing a move to Chelsea.

Chelsea have already triggered the release clause of €6m for the 18-year-old Barcelona academy product.

Barcelona had tried but failed to keep hold of Marc Guiu as he rejected a new contract.

Guiu will sign a six-year contract with Chelsea, and is expected to stay with the first team for next season.

Guiu is highly rated at Barcelona, but has been on the fringes at the Blaugrana, behind Robert Lewandowski and Ferran Torres.
