Chelsea have two players called up for England, but none have gotten a start in the ongoing European Championship.

Conor Gallagher has had two substitute appearances, while Cole Palmer is yet to feature at all.

The Three Lions have been far from impressive in Germany, and seem to have problems in midfield.

According to a report by The Athletic, Gareth Southgate wants to start Conor Gallagher in England’s final group stage game at the Euros, when the Three Lions face Slovenia on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old will come in for Trent Alexander-Arnold in the squad, as Gareth Southgate no longer wants to use the Liverpool right-back in the midfield.

Conor Gallagher deserves to start for England, but there have been calls for Southgate to hand an opportunity to Cole Palmer.

England have gained four points after two games, and will be guaranteed top spot if they beat their opponents on Tuesday.
