Chelsea snapped up Marc Cucurella from Brighton back in 2022, but the Spain international has struggled ever since.

However, Cucurella was a force to reckon with during the second half of last season.

Deployed as an inverted left-back, Cucurella was stunning towards the end of last season, and ended up getting a Spain national team call-up, where he has also starred in the Euros.

Cucurella who was linked with a move to Barcelona last summer, has now claimed he’s no longer thinking of a move away from Chelsea.

Marc Cucurella said: “Today I don’t even think about it, it doesn’t even cross my mind. I think that’s already happened.

“You never know what can happen, but I’m not thinking about that. At Chelsea, I’ve had some difficult years, but I’m happy and my family is comfortable.”

He concluded: “Something was rumoured. I don’t know much either. But I try not to let them tell me many things if they are not going to be done because you get too crazy.”
