Enzo Maresca has been tasked with leading the Chelsea team to greater heights next season.

Cesare Casadei is one of the Blues’ few first-team players with previous experience of working under Maresca.

The 21-year-old played 25 times on loan with Leicester City last season, and was a key player with the Foxes before Chelsea made the decision to recall him.

Casadei barely featured for Chelsea last season, and may need another loan spell away from Stamford Bridge.

Nevertheless, Enzo Maresca is a huge fan of the young Italian, and is keen to work with Casadei at Chelsea.
