Reporter Matt Law has revealed that were will be a number of changes in the Chelsea squad ahead of next season.
Matt Law has shared an update on Chelsea’s squad for the 2024-25 season.
According to the reporter, Chelsea are aiming to revamp the squad, but also want to have a large squad available for the Europa Conference League.
“Chelsea are planning to have a big squad, because, obviously, with the Conference League, they are going to take the Club World Cup really seriously,” Matt Law said on the London Is Blue podcast.
“I think they are looking at planning a squad that can cope with 75 to 80 matches next season.
“I’ve been told a lot of players will go; Casadei might go, and Datro Fofana will go, whether on loan or permanent. I think they would accept bids for Cucurella; whether they’d get any, I don’t know.
“Maatsen will go; he’s part of the Duran thing with Villa. I do think Chalobah will go.”
