Signed as a 21-year-old from Manchester City, Cole Palmer has gone on to become a mature player at Chelsea.

Cole Palmer was Chelsea’s best player last season, and definitely one of the best in the Premier League.

Cole Palmer has said that his first season at Chelsea wouldn’t have been so successful if it weren’t for Raheem Sterling who helped him settled in at London.

“When I moved down to London, it was the first time that I had lived alone,” Palmer told the official Chelsea app.

“Things move fast in football. One minute I’m at City and the next, I’m moving my life down to sign for Chelsea. I was excited. I won’t lie, it was different at the start but I’m really enjoying my time here.

“I do have to give a big shout out to Raheem Sterling. He has been great with me here, Raz.

“Of course, I know him from City and I spoke to him before I arrived and he has always given me great advice and helped me.

“He always said to me to just believe in my ability. When you’re 17 and hearing that from someone who has played in the Premier League for so long, you never forget it. I’m really grateful for that. I’ve always looked up to Raz.”
