Cole Palmer was one of the best players in the Premier League over the season.
Following his move from Manchester City, not much was expected from the City academy graduate. However, Palmer took the league by storm in his debut season at Chelsea, and was by far Chelsea’s best player.
Cole Palmer’s performances for Chelsea have now earned him a place in the England squad ahead of the upcoming Euro 2024 tournament in Germany.
Meanwhile, pundit Julien Laurens, has told England boss Gareth Southgate not to start Cole Palmer, rather the youngster should come off the bench to make an impact in the second-half.
“Cole Palmer is not a winger,” he said on The Gab and Juls Show on ESPN.
“Cole Palmer is the best super sub and impact player they have on the bench.
“So he will come on for the last half an hour, more if needed, but that would be perfect for him.”
