Enzo Maresca, Chelsea’s new first-team manager, is set to implement strict dietary regulations.

Maresca will bring fitness coach Marcos Alvarez, known for banning various foods to enhance player performance.

At previous clubs, Alvarez prohibited items like ketchup, fruit juice, cakes, and even salt and pepper.

These changes aim to optimise the players’ physical condition and overall team performance.

Chelsea fans are patiently waiting to see how the club will fare under Enzo Maresca.

Meanwhile, Maresca said after being confirmed as the new Blues boss: “To join Chelsea, one of the biggest clubs in the world, is a dream for any coach. It is why I am so excited by this opportunity.

“I look forward to working with a very talented group of players and staff to develop a team that continues the club’s tradition of success and makes our fans proud.”
