Djordje Petrovic has praised Chelsea’s £56 million transfer target Benjamin Sesko.

Petrovic has claimed the striker has “everything” needed to succeed at the club.

Sesko is in the form of his life, and ended the season in stunning form, scoring or assisting in 13 of the final 16 games of the Bundesliga season, which saw his release clause increased to €65million (£56m) as a result.

RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko is also wanted by Manchester United and Arsenal. Sesko is one of the most in-form strikers in the world, and netted in each of RB Leipzig’s final seven league matches.

Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic has hailed the 24-year-old striker, and is convinced Sesko would be a success in the Premier League following his performances this season.

Asked about Sesko, who he may face off in the Euro 2024 group stages, Serbia international Petrovic told Nogomania: “I know [about the rumours] and have been following him.

“He’s having a good half-season, he’s in great scoring form.

“I read that he’s scored in his last seven matches in a row. He seems to have gained strong momentum for the Euros.

“He’s a forward who has everything a modern player needs. He’s tall, strong, fast and intelligent.

“I’ve watched some of his matches. Of course he can play in the Premier League. Absolutely!

“He has great potential and he’s been successfully proving it in recent months.”
