According to reports, Chelsea are considering signing a new goalkeeper this summer.

Chelsea already have Djordje Petrovic and Robert Sanchez in the squad, along with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Gaga Slonina returning from loans.

According to reporter Ben Jacobs, incoming Blues boss Enzo Maresca prefers Petrovic, but will still prioritise finding a new shot-stopper.

Chelsea are now being linked with Villarreal’s Filip Jorgensen and Valencia’s Giorgi Mamardashvili, both young keepers who might affect the pathway of Chelsea’s current young goalies.

“At 22 and 23 respectively, the arrival of either could raise pathway questions from Chelsea’s other young keepers,” Jacobs wrote.
