Chelsea players are reportedly excited about Enzo Maresca’s imminent appointment as their new manager.

While some players were disappointed by Mauricio Pochettino’s departure, they are optimistic about Maresca’s potential impact.

Journalist Ben Jacobs noted that the squad believes Maresca’s preferred 4-3-3 formation will suit the team’s strengths and help them build momentum.

“Although it is true several players were disappointed to see Pochettino leave, there is already excitement at what Maresca can bring,” said Jacobs.

“Chelsea’s players believe momentum is on their side and Maresca’s favoured 4-3-3 should favour the squad he inherits.”
