Chelsea in Advanced Talks to Appoint This Tactician as New Head Coach

Chelsea Football Club is making significant progress in the pursuit of Enzo Maresca to become the new head coach, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Following positive discussions over the weekend, it is reported that Maresca is enthusiastic about the project at Stamford Bridge and is keen to take on the role.

According to Romano, there are no obstacles regarding Maresca’s contract, which is already under discussion. The primary focus now shifts to talks with Leicester City, Maresca’s current club, over a compensation fee believed to be around €10 million.

Maresca, who has been highly regarded for his tactical acumen and leadership, has expressed strong interest in joining Chelsea. The club views him as an ideal candidate to lead the team into a new era, aiming to build on their storied legacy.

Romano wrote on social media: “Chelsea are advancing in talks to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach.

“Positive talks over the weekend, he’s 100% keen and excited by #CFC project.

“No issues on Maresca’s contract already being discussed — talks to follow with Leicester City over €10m compensation fee.”
