Christopher Nkunku finally did his balloon celebration after scoring the winner in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory over Brighton on Wednesday night.

Nkunku, who has been troubled by injuries since his move to Chelsea from RB Leipzig last summer, stated his goal against Brighton was the right moment to finally do his famous balloon celebration.

Nkunku said: “I scored two times before but it wasn’t a good time to celebrate like this and tonight was a good time to celebrate. Yeah, I was happy, I have been waiting for the moment.

“That was a good moment. I was happy to see all the fans happy that I scored and made the celebration. And it was a good moment for me and for the team also.”
